Let’s just go ahead and admit it: self-believe is hard. Especially when you’ve eaten leftover pizza for breakfast again, your plants are dying of neglect, and your to-do list is giving “judgmental older sibling” energy.

But here’s the truth, believing in yourself doesn’t mean being perfect. It means choosing to see the potential, even if today’s version of you is in sweats and can’t remember where she put her water bottle. Again.

So…why is self belief so dang tricky?

Because we think it has to look like something. Confidence. Glam. Boss Energy.

But honesly? Self belief can be quiet, kind, messy, awkward and still powerful. Sometimes it just looks like saying:

“I don’t know how but I’ll figure it out. “

“I’m allowed to take up space even if I trip on the way in.”

“I’m not behind. I’m just not done yet.”

  1. Collect receipts from your own greatness. Not actual receipts (unless it’s from Target). I mean proof: times you did the thing, showed up, tried, grew. Start a note in your phone. Title it “Things I Did Even When I Was Scared.”
  2. Borrow belief until you build your own. Think of someone who believes in you and ride that energy like a motivational Uber until yours kicks in. you can borrow mine if you need to:)
  3. Talk to yourself like you’re the heroine of the story. Because you are. And no heroine ever reached greatness without first falling on her/his face, making weird choices, and learning how to rise with style.
